On June 3rd, 2019 we're flying to Nice (France), Queen City of the Côte d'Azur, for 10 days of FUN IN THE SUN! We'll be based in the 4-star Hotel West End, situated along the beach on the fabled Promenade des Anglais.
We'll traverse this stretch of Mediterranean coast known as the Riviera, soaking in all of its well-known points of interest, as well as discovering some of its better-kept secrets.
Following in the Modernist footsteps of Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, and Leger, we'll marvel at the work of these Masters and at the landscape and climate that inspired it. Why not grab a coffee or a glass of wine in the village that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway? Our discovery of this famous resort region will be chock full of natural, historical, anad gastronomic treasures. And of course we'll bask in the glamour and celebrity that will surely follow us (as it did Brigitte Bardot) from St. Tropez to Grasse (perfume capital of France) to Cannes to Nice's own Promenade des Anglais.
As we mingle with the rich and famous, there will be plenty of Provençal wine to sample -- What are you waiting for?
We will depart Nice for the USA on June 13th.
The all-inclusive price (with round-trip airfare from New Orleans or another gateway city) is $4,350 (assumes double-occupancy)
